A far-north sett for a quieter room. This Highland throw carries the Mackay tartan — deep green and navy blocked with black — the dark hunting cloth of Clan Mackay, whose country ran through Strathnaver and the north coast of Sutherland.

The wool blend is soft and warm, with a close, even weave and traditional fringe in the same greens, navies and blacks. Heavy enough to stay on a sofa or bed; light enough to take from chair to bag.
